“Growing up on a working farm in the Calder Valley, I developed a deep connection with the land and traditional craftsmanship. Over three decades, I’ve honed my skills studying sculpture, stone masonry, and heritage property maintenance. I take pride in using time-honoured techniques to restore and protect historic structures across the Northwest, the Isle of Man, Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire, ensuring they endure for future generations.”

My main philosophies are:

  • To respect heritage property and craftsmanship

  • Provide attention to detail that is second to none

  • Provide quality that lasts

James and his team did a fantastic job on the gable wall of our town house. The job fit in perfectly with the style, affordable and also just great people to have around. Fully recommend.

James did some beautiful work on a very tricky bespoke lettering and repair job. A great chap to work with and a real craftsman.
